What Do I Need to Use Nicky?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
Before you can use Nicky to make simple and secure transactions, you’ll need at least one essential: an exchange \/ Wallet Service Provider or simply a wallet (e.g. Revolut).<\/strong>
<\/strong>These are required to complete payments, as Nicky does not store your funds at any point. Think of them as your personal bank for managing crypto. <\/p>\n\n\n\nIf you already have a wallet, you can skip this step and move on to the next one, as Nicky allows you to connect any wallet to our service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Exchange \/ Wallet Service Provider<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n
Let\u2019s start by setting up an exchange or Wallet Service Provider.<\/strong>
<\/strong>First, you\u2019ll need to choose which Wallet Service Provider you want to use, and then create an account with them.<\/p>\n\n\n\nYou can add any Exchange \/ Wallet Service Provider to Nicky, though to be able to use one of the many guides provided by us we recommend using one of our recommended Wallet Service Providers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/strong>This information is used internally and will not be visible to other Nicky users.<\/p>\n\n\n\nNext, you\u2019ll need to choose a public name<\/strong> \u2014 this is the name that other users will see when interacting with your profile.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
You\u2019ll also be asked to provide your country of residence<\/strong>, and optionally, you can link a website<\/strong> to your Nicky profile.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
There\u2019s an additional (optional) field where you can let us know how you discovered Nicky<\/strong> \u2014 we\u2019d really appreciate your input!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Finally, feel free to upload a profile picture to make your account truly yours.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Connecting your Nicky account to an exchange requires two steps.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
First, create a set of API Keys in your exchange account. Then, add those keys in the Settings<\/strong> section of your Nicky account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Creating or finding API details<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n
The process may vary depending on the exchange you\u2019re using<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Keep in mind that the private key is only shown once<\/strong> at the time of creation, so make sure to copy it and store it in a safe place<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Editing Merchant Configurations<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
These allow you to choose which assets you want to allow a payer to use for settlements. Just keep in mind that if you change your Settlement Assets , it’ll change what the payer can pick during payments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
1. First, go to Settings by clicking the \u201cSettings<\/strong>\u201d button, as shown below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/div>\n\n\n\n2. Next, go to the \u201cMerchant Configuration\u201d section. From there, you can select the currencies and assets you want to make available for settlements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You’re almost there! Now we’ll connect the API you just created to your Nicky account.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
Once this step is complete, you’ll be ready to send your first payment and experience just how easy Nicky is to use.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Adding API details to your Nicky account<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n
1. You should already be in the \u201cSettings<\/strong>\u201d tab. If not, click on \u201cSettings<\/strong>\u201d at the top of your screen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
<\/div>\n\n\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n2. Now, click on the “Wallets<\/strong>” section. The screen shown below will appear, where you\u2019ll need to click on “Add Connection<\/strong>“.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
