How to Add a Wallet in Nicky

This guide will show you how to connect a wallet to your Nicky account. You can do this in two ways:

  1. Using the Connections tab – Ideal for linking exchange wallets via API.
  2. Using the Routing tab – Best for manually adding private wallet addresses.

Method 1: Connecting an Exchange Wallet via API

Step 1: Open Nicky and Go to Settings

Log in to your Nicky account. In the top right corner, click on the menu and select Settings.

Step 2: Go to the Connections Tab

Inside the Settings page, navigate to the Connections tab.

Step 3: Click “Add Connection”

Select Add Connection to start linking your wallet.

Step 4: Choose Your Exchange

From the dropdown menu, pick the exchange where your wallet is hosted (e.g., Kraken, Binance, Foxbit).

Step 5: Enter API Credentials

  • API Key – Paste the API Key from your exchange.
  • API Secret – Enter the corresponding API Secret.

These keys authenticate Nicky’s access to your account, enabling automated crypto management.

Step 6: Name the Connection

Give this wallet a unique name (e.g., “Kraken Trading Wallet”).

Step 7: Confirm the Connection

To finalize, type “Agree” when prompted.

Step 8: Select Cryptocurrencies to Route

Nicky will ask which crypto assets you want to route through this connection. Check the boxes for the coins you want to use.

Step 9: Save the Configuration

Click Save to complete the setup. Your wallet is now connected to Nicky.

Method 2: Adding a Private Wallet Address

Step 1: Open Nicky and Go to Settings

Log in and access the Settings page.

Step 2: Navigate to the Routing Tab

Click on Routing in the Settings menu.

Step 3: Click “Edit Routes”

To add a wallet, select Edit Routes.

Step 4: Choose “Private Wallet”

When prompted, select Private Wallet instead of an exchange.

Step 5: Enter Your Wallet Address

Paste the wallet’s public address (also called a wallet hash).

Step 6: Select Cryptocurrencies

Pick the specific coins that will be routed to this wallet.

Step 7: Name the Wallet Route

Enter a recognizable name (e.g., “USDC on Polygon”).

Step 8: Save the Configuration

Click Save to finalize.

Your private wallet is now added to Nicky, and selected cryptocurrencies will be routed accordingly.

By following these steps, you can easily integrate your wallets into Nicky, whether through an exchange connection or a private address.
