Getting Started

What you'll need

Before you can make simple, secure transactions with Nicky, you need at least one place to hold crypto: an exchange or Wallet Service Provider, or simply a wallet (for example Revolut).

• An exchange or Wallet Service Provider, such as Coinbase, Foxbit or Kraken.
• Or a wallet you already own. You can create one with a recommended provider or connect an existing one.

Sign up

1. 1Visit nicky.me and select Get Started, or Sign up.
2. 2Create your account with an email and password, or with Google, Microsoft or Apple.
3. 3Complete your profile: first and last name (internal only), a public name (visible to other users), country of residence, and optionally a website, how you found us, and a profile picture.
4. 4Open the confirmation email and click Confirm my account.
5. 5Return to nicky.me and log in with your details.
6. 6You now have access to your dashboard.

Connect an exchange or Wallet Service Provider

Nicky connects to your exchange through an API key. The exact steps vary by provider. We have dedicated guides for Coinbase, Foxbit and Kraken.

Edit your merchant configuration

1. 1Click Settings.
2. 2Open Merchant Configuration to choose your pricing currencies and settlement assets.

Set up wallet connections

1. 1Open the Settings tab.
2. 2Click the Wallets section, then Add Connection.
3. 3Open the dropdown and select your Wallet Service Provider, or choose Manual for a wallet that isn't listed.
4. 4Enter the API Key Name and Private Key, and optionally name the connection.

Configure payment routes

1. 1Stay in the Wallets section to set up your routes.
2. 2Open the dropdown and select the connection you want.
3. 3Select the assets you want to accept and send, then click SAVE.
