Everything You Need for Your First Payment Request

Before following this guide, please make sure you’ve created a Nicky account.
If you haven’t done so yet, head over to our “Getting Started” guide for step-by-step instructions.

If you already have a Nicky account, please ensure the following setup steps have been completed:

  • Setting up your Merchant Configuration
  • Creating a Connection
  • Adding or importing a Wallet

If any of these steps are missing, we recommend returning to the “Getting Started” guide to complete them before proceeding.

Payment Request History

The Payment Request History lets you review all your previous requests, so you can easily check whether a payment has been completed. You can also cancel a request here if you’d like to revoke it.

Let’s walk through all the functionalities so you can understand why each one is important.

Accessing the Payment Request History

As you can see, the Payment Request History displays key information such as the intended “Payer“, the “Creation Date” of the request, its “Amount”, and an optional “Description”. Each Payment Request is assigned a unique “Short ID“, which can be shared via link or QR code. The “Status” column indicates the current stage of the request. Additionally, you can click the ✉️ icon to resend the email or the 🗑️ icon to cancel the request.
