Sending a payment in Nicky is straightforward — this guide will help you send your first payment with ease.
Whether you’re sending funds to a friend, client, or business partner, you’ll see just how simple and flexible Nicky makes the process.
Everything You Need for Your First Payment
Before following this guide, please make sure you’ve created a Nicky account.
If you haven’t done so yet, head over to our “Getting Started” guide for step-by-step instructions.
If you already have a Nicky account, please ensure the following setup steps have been completed:
- Setting up your Merchant Configuration
- Creating a Connection
- Adding or importing a Wallet
If any of these steps are missing, we recommend returning to the “Getting Started” guide to complete them before proceeding.
Sending a Payment
This part will help you find your way to our Payment button, if you already know how to access it you can skip to the next section.
1. Log in to your Nicky Account
You can either visit nicky.me and click “Login”, or access your account directly at pay.nicky.me if you’ve previously logged in on your device.
2. Search for the “Profile Search”
This field is accessible from every tab on the nicky.me website. Once located, you can enter the user’s email, short ID, or domain (for businesses).
3. Filling in the Fields
Start by selecting the currency from the dropdown menu — this is the currency in which you’ll enter the amount.
Next, enter the amount you wish to send.
Then, choose the cryptocurrency you want the recipient to receive the amount in.
The “Related to” field is optional and can be used to give the recipient more context about the payment.
Once everything is filled out, click “Next” to proceed.
4. Sending the payment
You now have 15 minutes to confirm your payment.
No worries—you can always reopen the payment window through the confirmation email we sent, in case your window closes.
To do this, you’ll need to use your Wallet. If possible, scan the QR code using your wallet’s built-in scanner.
If that’s not an option, you can manually copy the recipient’s crypto address, which is highlighted in red in the image.
After doing this you’ll need to follow the instructions given by your wallet.
5. Confirming the payment
Proceed by clicking on the “I have sent” button. This will open the screen shown below.
You’ll now need to enter the “Transaction ID” of the payment — this allows Nicky to verify its authenticity.
If you have trouble locating the “Transaction ID,” please refer to the “How to Find a Transaction ID” guide.

You now know how to send Payments and access their history.
