Every transaction made on the blockchain, is assigned a unique transaction ID (transaction hash). The terms “tx” or “txn” are often used instead of “transaction.”
The transaction hash is a condensed version of the transaction’s data. This includes details such as the addresses involved, the timestamp, and the quantity of tokens exchanged.
Locating the transaction ID is straightforward, though the method may vary depending on the platform you’re using to complete the transaction.
Nicky need the transaction ID to verify the authenticity of all payments made using the Nicky infrastructure.
Locate transaction ID
Once you complete a crypto transaction, it will appear in the activity/transaction history of your account. To view the details, including the transaction ID / transaction hash, simply click on the specific transaction in the history list.
Locate the transaction ID, mark it and copy the ID to your clipboard. There might be an icon you can simply click to copy the ID. Now the ID is ready for you to paste in to the right field in the Nicky payment flow.
Alternatively, and if you want to see more details about the transaction, you can locate and click on a “View on block explorer” link, which will take you to the appropriate block explorer page for the network you’re using. Here, the transaction ID is referred to as the transaction hash.
